Glencore IPO price was announced on wednesday. Glencore set a price range of 480p to 580p a share for its initial public offering (IPO). With the midpoint valuing the company at £36.5bn. That is according to Telegraph of UK.
The final pricing of the offer is expected to be announced on or around May 19, with unconditional dealings in London on May 24 and Hong Kong on May 25.

Glencore, the world’s largest commodities trading company, is finalising plans for initial public offering in Hong Kong and London.

Glencore hopes to sell 20% stake for between $10 – $12 billion. Which will value the company at $50 – $60 billion. If this is correct, the company has doubled in value in the last two years. The convertible bond issue in December 2009 valued the company at $35bn.
